Background Information

Although ball games are very common in our sports, certain types of ball games have not been fully developed in certain parts of our communities and the world. Some of them have been overshadowed by the more popular ones like football. These other talents therefore remain undetected and unutilized and the persons with such talents will never get to utilize them. In some other cases some of the ball games appear to be dominated by a small section of the sporting community while the larger talent pool of such games have not been given an opportunity to showcase their skills and probably advance and do better than the existing players. The aim of these programs is therefore to develop potential talents in the ball games that have not previously been noticed and supported to grow due to lack of emphasis and competitiveness in the said games.

Target Countries: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan. (Gradually the project will be scaled up to other countries).
